3. Once the pan is warm, add 2 tablespoons of garlic and spread it evenly using a spoon. Then, add all of the beef mince. Increase heat to medium.

My Idea!
How does your recipe within the Australian guide to healthy eating?
My recipe fits within the Australian guide to healthy eating as it includes ingredients such as beef mince, eggs, tortilla wraps and cheese. All of which are shown in the Australian guide to healthy eating. My recipe is very healthy because the meat and eggs contain lots of protein, which is important for muscle and bone development. The tortilla wraps are also good for my digestive system and can decrease my chances of potential heart failure in the future.
How did you help during the cooking process?
Since I have never cooked mince meat before, my mother helped me learn how to cook it. However, I was still responsible for the majority of the cooking process such as beating or cooking the eggs and toasting the tortilla wrap. This was a very fun process and I am very proud with what I have made.
Discuss some of the challenges you have faced planning this family meal.
At first, I was a little skeptical about making this dish as I was worried that the contents would simply fall out when I folded the wraps into a hexagonal shape. That is why I had thought of adding the cheese on top, so when all the corners of the tortilla met the center (this is how the tortilla is folded), they would be locked in place by the melted cheese. This was not only really helpful, but the cheese also added a delicious taste to my dish.
Did anything about planning your family meal surprise you?
Yes. I was actually quite surprised by how much ingredients were required for my recipe. Unlike last week's recipe which was steak and vegetables, my recipe consisted of about 11 ingredients. Fortunately, most of the ingredients I already had, so I didn't have to take time purchasing them from the grocery store.
COVID-19 has made a big impact on the accessibility of food products, did you find this when shopping for ingredients?
Yes I did. Whenever I go shopping with my mother, I notice a huge shortage of products such as canned food and pasta. This might be because canned food and pasta are foods that can typically last a long time, which makes them ideal in case of a lock down. That is why my mother and I are using the old garden we used to use in the backyard so that we can supply ourselves with our own ingredients whenever we like!
Did your meal create food waste? What did you do to avoid this?
My meal actually made very little food waste. This was because I didn't have to throw away anything except for egg shells and a single plastic bag that contained the tortillas. Me and my mother are very conscious about the waste we produce by using methods such as buying reusable bags and reusing plastic containers from food.
Has this lead you to want to plan further family meals?
Yes, I really enjoyed making this dish as it turned out very nice and delicious. That is why I would like to make this same dish in the future but with slight alterations. I hoping to always improve my dish up to the point it becomes perfect!
Would you change anything about this dish if you were to cook it again?
I certainly would. Because this dish turned out so well, I was planning to make it again with other ingredients such as different types of meat and vegetables. I wanted to add different meats in order to enhance the flavor of my dish. However, the vegetables would be an especially important addition to my dish because they are very important for the human body!

5/5!
Overall, this dish was super delicious and probably one of the best I've cooked. The combination of the meat and cheese provided a very juicy and sweet flavor. The eggs were also a very good addition as they are high in protein. Because I've enjoyed this dish so much, I have promised to make it again the future with more interesting ingredients!
